Timeline of prophetic events

A. The present prophetic fulfillments before your eyes.

1. The return of the Jews from all over the world (Eze. 34:11-13) and the reestablishment of the Nation of Israelite in 1948 but this is only a temporal kingdom of David (Amos 9:11).
   
   Eze. 34:11 For thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out.12 "As a shepherd cares for his herd in the day when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will care for My sheep and will deliver them from all the places to which they were scattered on a cloudy and gloomy day.13 "I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and bring them to their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streams, and in all the inhabited places of the land.
   Amos 9:11 "In that day I will raise up the fallen booth of David, And wall up its breaches; I will also raise up its ruins And rebuild it as in the days of old;


2. Yet in the early days after 1948, conversion of the Jews will be slow because for many years they have rejected the gospel (Rom. 10:21). It is also because their hearts are hardened.
   
   Rom. 10:21 But as for Israel He says, "ALL THE DAY LONG I HAVE STRETCHED OUT MY HANDS TO A DISOBEDIENT AND OBSTINATE PEOPLE." [see Prophecy 1-p on Rom. 11]


3. Then comes the Six Day War in 1967 when the Jews miraculously retake Jerusalem and the city is no more trampled under by the Gentiles. This is stated in Lu. 21:24 to be the sign signifying the fulfillment of the times of the Gentiles.
   
   Luke 21:24 and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.


4. But with fulfillment of the times of the Gentiles, partial hardening of the Jews will also come to an end (Rom. 11:25). The Jews will start responding to evangelism like other responsive Gentile races. Thus more Jews are converted in the last 19 years, than all 19 centuries put together.
   
   Rom. 11:25 For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery-- so that you will not be wise in your own estimation-- that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in;


5. As the Jews convert, they are grafted in themselves back into their own Jewish roots (Rom. 11:24). Thus the emergence of the Messianic Congregations who are both one body with the Church but also fully Children of Abraham, both physically and spiritually justified by faith.
   
   Rom. 11:24 For if you were cut off from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these who are the natural branches be grafted into their own olive tree?


6. Spiritual shepherds will be raised up from their midst to care for the Messianic Believers (Jer. 23:3-4) after Israel returns to Palestine. They will be pastors so that believers will be strong and none will be missing. Indeed “One For Israel Bible College” is training many of these shepherds.
   
   Jer. 23: 3 "Then I Myself will gather the remnant of My flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and bring them back to their pasture, and they will be fruitful and multiply. 4 "I will also raise up shepherds over them and they will tend them; and they will not be afraid any longer, nor be terrified, nor will any be missing," declares the LORD.


7. In Palestine after the Jews return in 1948, under the nation of Israel, there will be Gentiles converting within the hospices of the new nation (Acts 15:16-17 from Amos 9:12). Thus the growth of Arabic Churches.
   
   Acts 15: 15 "With this the words of the Prophets agree, just as it is written, 16 'AFTER THESE THINGS I will return, AND I WILL REBUILD THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID WHICH HAS FALLEN, AND I WILL REBUILD ITS RUINS, AND I WILL RESTORE IT, 17 SO THAT THE REST OF MANKIND MAY SEEK THE LORD, AND ALL THE GENTILES WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME,'


8. Israel as a nation will prosper after the Jews return in 1948, with immense agricultural development and they will rebuild the ruined cities (Amos 9:13-14). However, it will also be an epoch of tension and difficulties, for it will be a period when God will judge the bad sheep who are hurting the good sheep (Eze. 34:20-22).
   
   Amos 9:13 "Behold, days are coming," declares the LORD, "When the plowman will overtake the reaper And the treader of grapes him who sows seed; When the mountains will drip sweet wine And all the hills will be dissolved.14 "Also I will restore the captivity of My people Israel, And they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them; They will also plant vineyards and drink their wine, And make gardens and eat their fruit.
   Eze 34:20 "Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep. 21 "Because you push with side and with shoulder, and thrust at all the weak with your horns until you have scattered them abroad, 22 therefore, I will deliver My flock, and they will no longer be a prey; and I will judge between one sheep and another.


9. Preaching the gospel to all nations as a witness is completed (Matt. 24:14) and there will be persecutions of the Messianic Jews which will heighten as we proceed towards the Tribulation (Matt. 10:16-23).
   
   Matt. 24:14 "This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
   Matt 10:22 "You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.23 "But whenever they persecute you in one city, flee to the next; for truly I say to you, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes.


10. Life will be good as in the days of Noah and Lot (Lu. 17: 26-29). But at the same time as the end encroaches, there will be false prophets, rumor of wars, actual wars, famine and earthquakes (Mk. 13:6-8) and signs in heaven (Joel 2:30).
    
    Lu. 17:26 "And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man:27 they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.28 "It was the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;
    Mk 13:6 "Many will come in My name, saying, 'I am He!' and will mislead many.7 "When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be frightened; those things must take place; but that is not yet the end.8 "For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes in various places; there will also be famines.
    Joel 2:30 "I will display wonders in the sky and on the earth, Blood, fire and columns of smoke.

B. Present prophetic fulfillments with definite linkage to in the Tribulation.

1. The emergence of a renewed Roman Empire, strong but divided which will later become the empire of the antichrist (Dan. 2:40-41). The present European Union seems to be moving in that direction.
   
   Dan. 2: 40 "Then there will be a fourth kingdom as strong as iron; inasmuch as iron crushes and shatters all things, so, like iron that breaks in pieces, it will crush and break all these in pieces.41 "In that you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter's clay and partly of iron, it will be a divided kingdom; but it will have in it the toughness of iron, inasmuch as you saw the iron mixed with common clay. [see 1-page on Dan. 2]


2. The antichrist will sign a firm covenant for 7 years with the Jews, making Jerusalem a recognized Holy City with a rebuilt Holy Temple and renewal of daily sacrifices. But he will break it after 3½ years (Dan. 9:27).
   
   Dan. 9:27 "And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate."


3. The antichrist should arise before the 7 years (otherwise how can he organize the covenant?). As the false prophet supports him closely, he too should appear with their partnership already set up (Rev. 13:7 & 12).
   
   Rev. 13: 1 Then I saw a beast…. 7 It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him. 11 Then I saw another beast… 12 He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. And he makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast. [see 1-page on Rev. 13]


4. The rapture of the Church is probably before the signing of the covenant as it is supposed to come on suddenly (1Thess. 5:3). Once there is that signing, it is no more that sudden.
   
   1Thess. 5:3 While they are saying, "Peace and safety!" then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape. [see 1-p for both 1Thess. 4 & 5]


5. The rebuilding of the temple and the renewal of the daily sacrifices. This must be before the final 3½ years. Otherwise, how can Rev. 11:1-2 be fulfilled? But it may even be completed before the seven years and the antichrist’s covenant is just to give it global recognition. NB: The Temple Institute is ready to run it even now.
   
   Rev. 11:1 Then there was given me a measuring rod like a staff; and someone said, "Get up and measure the temple of God and the altar, and those who worship in it. 2 "Leave out the court which is outside the temple and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations; and they will tread under foot the holy city for forty-two months.


6. Remarkable IT technological advances to enable the antichrist to control the world in all buying and selling with a number codes (Rev. 13:17-18).
   
   Rev. 13:17 and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name.18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six [see 1-p on Rev. 13]


7. The rise of a country that can produce an army of 200 million as predicted in Rev. 9:16. Rev. 16:12 hints that it will be from kings of the East. It’s reported in the Chinese press that China indeed do have such possibility.
   
   Rev. 9:16 The number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them.
   Rev. 16:12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was dried up, so that the way would be prepared for the kings from the east. [see 1-p on Rev. 9 & 16]


8. The antichrist will be honoring a god of fortresses (Dan. 11:38), which is a religion that worship war and terrorism. It can certainly be like the Islamic State (ISIS).
   
   Dan. 11:38 "But instead he will honor a god of fortresses, a god whom his fathers did not know; he will honor him with gold, silver, costly stones and treasures. [see 1-p on Dan 11 section 3 on 11:35-45]


9. There will 144,000 Jewish bondservants in Rev. 7:3-4 already present in the midst of the Tribulation. From Rev. 14:4-5 it is clear that are dedicated disciples of Christ. They are actually no different from the committed Messianic Jews of today. There are key reasons to believe that the present Messianic Jews will not be raptured but will form a significant part of the 144,000. (1) The rapture is a promise given to a Gentile Church (1Thess. 4:16-17) who are believers turning from idols (1Thess. 1:9) and are not Jews. (2) The 144,000 will include strong spiritual leaders in Micah 5:5 and this cannot be if the Messianic Jews are all raptured (1Tim. 3:6). (3) Believing Jews need to be grafted in as in Ro. 11:24. How can this process be completed with growth to full discipleship if they are all raptured and the Tribulation begins with only new converts? (4) The present Jewish remnant are promised that their restoration will be eventually be even greater than the Exodus (Jer. 16:14-15 & Jer. 23:7). How can this be if the present Messianic Jews are all raptured?
   
   Rev 7:3..the bond-servants of our God on their foreheads."4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred and forty-four thousand sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:
   Rev. 14: 4 These are the ones who have not been defiled with women, for they have kept themselves chaste. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased from among men as first fruits to God and to the Lamb.5 And no lie was found in their mouth; they are blameless.
   Micah 5:5 Then we will raise against him Seven shepherds and eight leaders of men.
   1Tim. 3:6 and not a new convert, so that he will not become conceited and fall into the condemnation incurred by the devil. [see 1-p on 1Tim. 3]
   Jer. 16: 14 "Therefore behold, days are coming," declares the LORD, "when it will no longer be said, 'As the LORD lives, who brought up the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt,' 15 but, 'As the LORD lives, who brought up the sons of Israel from the land of the north and from all the countries where He had banished them.' For I will restore them to their own land which I gave to their fathers. [see Prophecy 1-p on Jer. 23]
   Jer. 23: 7 "Therefore behold, the days are coming," declares the LORD, "when they will no longer say, 'As the LORD lives, who brought up the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt,'8 but, 'As the LORD lives, who brought up and led back the descendants of the household of Israel from the north land and from all the countries where I had driven them.' Then they will live on their own soil."
   
   Other reasons: 1. First fruits. 2. Eze.39:27 sanctified to the nations after their return. 3. Acts: 15 4. Hosea 3


10. Another strong reason affirming that the Messianic Jews will not be raptured are the many passages in the OT on the restoration of the spiritual Jewish remnant. When this occur, the next event is always moving on into the Tribulation without any gap. There are many examples: (1) Joel 2:28-29 and then 30-31 is the Tribulation. (2) Micah 5:2-3 is fulfilling the condition for restoration and 4ff is into the Tribulation. (3) Micah 7:9 is the restoration and then 15ff the Tribulation. (4) Malachi 3:16 is the emergence of the Jewish remnant and 4:1ff is the Tribulation. [Refer to the Prophecy 1-p of these passages for detailed explanation]

C. Events in the final 3 ½ years of Tribulation that is especially related to the Messianic Jews.

1. The antichrist breaks his seven years covenant after 3 ½ years and invade Jerusalem in Matt. 24:15 as the abomination of desolation as predicted in Dan. 12:11
   
   Matt. 24:15 "Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),


2. Those in Judea referring to the Messianic Jews must flee (Matt. 24:15-17; 21) and the real Tribulation will begin.
   
   Matt 24:16 then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains.17 "Whoever is on the housetop must not go down to get the things out that are in his house. 18 "Whoever is in the field must not turn back to get his cloak. 21 "For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will.


3. The temple and Jerusalem will be given to the Gentile army under the antichrist (Rev. 11:1-2) for 42 months and he will demand the world to worship him (1Thess. 2:4). [see also Isa. 10:20-34]
   
   Rev. 11:1Then there was given me a measuring rod like a staff; and someone said, "Get up and measure the temple of God & the altar, and those who worship in it.2 "Leave out the court which is outside the temple & do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations; & they will tread under foot the holy city for 42 months.
   2Thess. 2:4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. [see 1-p on 2Thess.2]


4. The Messianic Jews will flee but there will be two witnesses with super powers that God will provide to protect them (Rev. 11:3-6). So the antichrist with all his powers will not be able to destroy the Messianic Jews which will include the 144,000 during the Tribulation.
   
   Rev.11:3 "And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth."4 These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. 5 And if anyone wants to harm them, fire flows out of their mouth and devours their enemies; so if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this way.6 These have the power to shut up the sky, so that rain will not fall during the days of their prophesying; and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they desire.


5. It is with the two witnesses protection, they will be able to remove the Holy of Holy from the temple and this is not given to the antichrist (Rev. 11:1-see above point C3). Thus in Isa. 52:11-12 states that they will leave with the holy vessels not in haste as fugitives but will be protected by the Lord.
   
   Isa. 52:11 Depart, depart, go out from there, Touch nothing unclean; Go out of the midst of her, purify yourselves, You who carry the vessels of the LORD.12 But you will not go out in haste, Nor will you go as fugitives; For the LORD will go before you, And the God of Israel will be your rear guard. [see Prophecy 1_p on Isa 16 & 41]


6. The path that they will flee is predicted in Mic. 7:14-15. They will move north to Carmel and then cross over the Jordan River to Bashan and move south to Gilead protected by the two witnesses. Similar to the Exodus in Egypt they will be seeing miracles of protection on the way.
   
   Mic. 7 (KJV):14 Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.15 According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I shew unto him marvelous things.


7. The two witnesses will lead them to a place prepared (Rev. 12:14) fully protected from the antichrist. Thus it is stated in Dan. 11:41 that the entire area east of the Jordan River, namely Ammon, Moab and Edom will not fall to the antichrist and they will move there victoriously (Mic. 5:7-9). [see also Isa. 11:10-16]
   
   Rev. 12:14 But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
   Dan.11:41 "He will also enter the Beautiful Land, and many countries will fall; but these will be rescued out of his hand: Edom, Moab and the foremost of the sons of Ammon. [see 1-p on Dan 11 section 3 on 11:35-45]
   Mic. 5:7 Then the remnant of Jacob Will be among many peoples Like dew from the LORD, Like showers on vegetation Which do not wait for man Or delay for the sons of men.8 The remnant of Jacob Will be among the nations, Among many peoples Like a lion among the beasts of the forest, Like a young lion among flocks of sheep, Which, if he passes through, Tramples down and tears, And there is none to rescue.9 Your hand will be lifted up against your adversaries, And all your enemies will be cut off.


8. Towards the end of the Tribulation, the antichrist manage to kill the two witnesses (Rev. 11:7-8) and all onethird Jewish survivors in Jerusalem repents and call on the Lord (Zech. 13:9).
   
   Rev. 11: 7 When they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them and kill them.8 And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which mystically is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.
   Zech. 13:9 "And I will bring the third part through the fire, Refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them; I will say, 'They are My people,' And they will say, 'The LORD is my God.'"


9. Armies of the world gather at Armageddon (Rev. 16:14; 16) and a segment is sent to eliminate the Messianic Jews, now without the protection of the two witnesses, while another segment comes down to lay siege on Jerusalem which has the one-third of Jewish survivors repenting (Zech. 12:3 cf Joel 3:2) .
   
   Rev. 16: 14 for they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.16 And they gathered them together to the place which in Hebrew is called Har-Magedon.
   Zech. 12:3 "It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.


10. Christ return, first alone at Bozrah to save the Messianic Jews (Isa. 63:1,3), then to Jerusalem to save Israel (Zech. 14:4-5) and third with the resurrected Church to destroy the antichrist’s army at Armageddon (Rev.19:19-21).
    
    Isa. 63:1 Who is this who comes from Edom, With garments of glowing colors from Bozrah, This One who is majestic in His apparel, Marching in the greatness of His strength? "It is I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save." 3 "I have trodden the wine trough alone, And from the peoples there was no man with Me. I also trod them in My anger And trampled them in My wrath; [also see Isa. 34:6-8]
    Zech. 14: 4 In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south.5 You will flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel;
    Rev. 19: 19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies assembled to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.20 And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone.21 And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh.
