Introduction

The part of the Bible that appears to be most captivating as well as perplexing is undoubtedly those on Prophecies. While we know that God has made known His blueprint on future in the Scripture, we still find it complicated and often difficult to comprehend the big picture, not to mention applying the truth involved. Since there are so many theories on prophecies nowadays, it is very difficult to discern which one is correct, which one is wrong, and which one is inconclusive. There is a strong need for vigorous and detailed study of the end times prophecies in the Bible.

Since 2016, Dr W H Seto has led a group of Christians to study this particular aspect of the Bible. This small group was truly endowed to realize His plans and to appreciate His almightiness and righteousness. Indeed the Lord’s amazing words are unfailing and are eminent to both the people of Israel and the world. We believe God has led His children to know His intentions and what lies in store for them, so that they may know how to live according to His will, and others to come to know Him when time is running out.

Because of the complexity of the prophecies and the vast area of the scripture that is being covered, we come up with a 3-level course to allow brothers and sisters with different levels of understanding, interest and needs to participate:

Level 1: Mainly on the New Testament, outlining a simple timeline of the end times

Level 2: Study on passages from the Book of Revelation, in particular events in the last 3 and a half years of the Tribulation period and the groups of people involved. Participants will have a basic understanding on the events in the final 7 years at the end times.

Level 3: Study of end times prophecies in the Old Testament with aim of enabling participants to understand the role of Israel in these prophecies. By the end of the course, they should be able to come up with a clear picture of God’s plan for salvation for mankind and the chronological order of different end times events.

The purpose of making this big picture: Help brothers, sisters, and friends have a deeper and more accurate understanding of the Bible’s records. The day when Jesus Christ returns is getting closer and closer! This map reminds us not to be lukewarm Christians. We are all priests of God’s sovereign on earth, and we are the ambassadors of the Lord; we are all good soldiers of Christ. Soldiers should not be entangled in worldly affairs. We must be dedicated and not waste time, preach the gospel, and make disciples together until we meet the Lord Jesus.

In the Gospels, Jesus spoke many prophecies to His disciples, so that when these prophecies ‘were fulfilled,' the disciples would not be alarmed and would thereby believe in Him.
...I remember Dr.Erez Soref, the President of Israel College of the Bible, once said that nearly one-third of the entire Bible concerns prophecy, and since the entire Bible is inspired by God, why shouldn't we study it seriously?

Studying the revelations about the End Times has encouraged me to stay prepared and live a disciplined life. Sharing the gospel should be our top priority because we have so little time left!

As 1 Peter 3:15 says, ‘ But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence.’

This is an important part of the Whole Counsel of God - the 66 books of the entire Bible.
Although we are Gentiles and born-again Christians who believe in being 'raptured' before the Lord's return, we cannot neglect the need to understand chapters 4-20 of Revelation more deeply.
For more we understand what will happen ‘ after the rapture,' the more urgency we will feel to ‘ go to preach the gospel; go to make disciples. '

Some prophecies have already been fulfilled, which makes those who study prophecy more confident that ‘ the unfulfilled prophecies ' will surely be fulfilled just like ‘ those that have been fulfilled. ‘
Brothers and sisters' lives and direction will therefore be adjusted and realigned, receiving our Heavenly Father's precious promises!

Regardless of how believers interpret it, we must acknowledge that we are getting closer to the End Times judgment. Apostle John exhorts all saints to 'be watchful…'
Revelation 1:3
'Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.'
If we don't study and understand it, how can we be properly prepared?
Just as the Lord Jesus used the parable of the virgins in Matthew 25 to command His disciples to 'be watchful,' those who are not prepared will surely regret missing this precious opportunity.

In my many years of studying the Bible, nothing has brought more impact and conviction about God's power and the Bible's authority than studying its prophecies! Biblical prophecies are very specific and clear, incomparable to any popular fortune-telling or divination methods.
One example is Daniel 9:25-26, which around 500 BC clearly indicated that the Messiah would be killed in 33 AD. When we recognize that these historical prophecies have been fulfilled one by one, we can also expect that God's early revelations about 'prophecies concerning the future and End Times' will likewise be fulfilled.
Some Biblical prophecies have already proven to be accurately fulfilled, such as Isaiah 44:28-45:4, which specifically named a future King Cyrus who would order the rebuilding of Jerusalem and its temple. This prophecy was written 150 years before Cyrus of the Persian Empire appeared.
Therefore, wise believers should seriously study and learn 'Biblical prophecies.' Because after knowing what God has foretold will certainly happen in the future, we can surely live more vigilantly, and even when encountering various difficulties and sufferings today, we can overcome everything with faith and hope, giving glory to God.

Studying prophecy will amaze you and me: God's plan has been meticulously and perfectly revealed to us in the Bible.
Comparing scriptures written in different eras, we discover the Bible's wonderful consistency, with even the smallest details matching perfectly—this deepens my conviction in the 'inerrancy of Scripture'! The wisdom revealed within also deepens my reverence for God.
...The Lord Jesus said everyone needs to pay attention to the signs of the times, letting us to know that His return is near (Matt 24:32-33), so we can prepare well to meet the Lord. Without studying prophecy, we won't be sensitive to the Lord's return, nor will we prepare well to live as good stewards.
God gave prophecies according to His attributes and will. Studying prophecy helps me know God better and understand His Will for me. Especially in this informative and fast track age, with computers, internet, and much convenient transportation, we can better understand those hidden messages in biblical prophecies related to Israel's geography and Jewish culture, which are crucial for knowing God and His Will.
Hasn't God placed us in this era precisely so that we would strive to understand Him in this way?

When we study prophecy-related scriptures, the prerequisite is to have the correct attitude like Jacob's toward Joseph's 'two dreams'. He saw future events unlike Joseph's other brothers!
Jacob continuously observed carefully, and in his heart he 'took action,' not just 'passively remembering.' This is what gains and pleases God's approval.
